Options → Survival Guide → Tips → Status Effects

Pals and players may suffer status effects from nearby environments or skills.

There are many types of status effects, with varying differences.

Also, Pals are easier to capture when they are affected by a status effect.

Burn

Fire

The body catches fire and takes continuous damage. Damage taken from Grass attacks is reduced. Fire and Water Pals cannot be Burned.

Soaked

Water

The body becomes soaked, reducing movement speed. Damage taken from Electric attacks is increased. Damage taken from Fire attacks is reduced.

Ivy-Covered

Grass

Vines wrap around the body, reducing movement speed. Certain actions, such as jumping and dodging, are restricted. Damage taken from Fire attacks is increased.

Electrify

Electric

Electricity paralyzes the body, rendering the target unable to act. Damage taken from Water attacks is increased.

Freeze

Ice

The body is frozen solid, rendering the target unable to act.

Muddy

Ground

The body becomes covered in mud, reducing movement speed. Damage taken from Grass attacks is increased. Damage taken from Electric attacks is reduced.

Blind

Dark

Vision darkens, causing the target to lose sight of enemies.

Poison

Dark

The body is afflicted with poison and takes continuous damage.
